Joe Danger locking up on me forcing me to hard restart PS3?

Saw the great reviews of Joe Danger and decided to purchase it and download when it was released today. I have tried to play it 3 times so far and all three times it has locked up on me in the first level/course. The only way I can get out of the locked game is by doing a hard reset of my PS3, i.e. holding down the power button until it beeps three times to reset the PS3. The screen freezes but the music keeps playing along with the sound of the motorbike even though the screen/game freezes. I have a 60gb PS3 purchased at launch. Anyone else having this problem? Can someone help? It looks like a great game and I'm hoping my $14.99 hasn't gone to waste.

Same problem here, I bought the game this morning and it locked on me in the story section but the sound continued. Hard reseting my ps3 and yet same problem
my system is 40gb CECHH.

There were a few times where it worked for me also. Then it just started to lock up every time again.

It keeps freezing for us when i play one of my created levels. I can edit it fine but when i go to play it, Joe just falls through the floor and the white screen of death appears. Which means then hard resetting my PS3 to try it again. Help lol!

I am having the same issue. I have a 60 gig ps3.

I bought Joe Danger today and played it for about an hour. When I came back a few hours later and tried it again today all I get is a black screen.

Now every time I launch Joe Danger on my PS3 I get a black screen that lasts for at least 20 minutes that I have waited. I saw you wanted the steps taken before getting this from someone else with the same issue on your Forums so here it is. (obviously a lot of people are having this issue because there are 308 views of the topic)

I turn on my PS3, go to the games and select Joe Danger. The screen turns black. The HDD light flashes for about 10 seconds then stays solid. Nothing else. I have let it sit for about 20 minutes and nothing changes. Pressing the PS button on the controller does nothing. Pressing the power button beeps but then nothing else. I have to hold down the power button for 10 seconds to turn of the PS3.

All other disc and downloaded games work.
